Hastings town Centre – ARUP Landscape Architecture
We have worked in this project from RIBA 2 to RIBA 4 with the project currently out to tender. We worked closely with the landscape architects on this major seaside town centre upgrade to predict costs and manage funding for the build.

A hedge seen from space

We were asked by Gardenlink to assist in designing the layout of the Sybil Hedge at Houghton Hall. We designed and plotted the x:y positions of every young hedge plant in CAD and then set these out exactly to achieve the owners intention of a memory for his mum.

We worked with the Landscape architects and the RHS to predict the future cost and produced the tender documents of this beautifully designed upgrade to the RHS gardens at Wisley. Our work ensured that the tenders were returned on budget and the project was managed to successful completion by our detailed analysis and BQ’s

Our expertise in cost visualisation helped our client to plan the budgets for this award winning build. We worked with the RHS to understand and prepare the potential cost of this projects implementation.

Our role in this project was to predict the build cost of the multiple green space elements that would be required to mitigate the engineering works for this major water project in London.
We also produced detailed analysis for the 100 year potential maintenance costs so that the local authorities inheriting the green spaces could understand their future greenspace maintenance lability on the interventions.

HS1 – The Channel Tunnel Railway Link

We worked with a contractor to acquire this project for them.

The project was won due to our advanced knowledge of estimating and the employers confidence in their ability to carry out the work. The project comprised the planting of 1,027,100 trees and native shrubs as well as ornamental planting. It also involved delivering a 20 year establishment maintenance plan.
